Powerhouse Fitness’ First Annual Friday Night Lights!!!

The 2022 Open Is Here!!!

Powerhouse Fitness is excited to announce its first EVER Friday Night Lights (keep reading for all the info)!

There is no cost to participate and EVERYONE is welcome. If you haven’t already done so, sign up- it will be a blast!!

What is the CrossFit Open?

The Crossfit Open is a three-week international competition where anyone — regardless of fitness level or ability — can join in on the fun. The workout is announced on Thursday evening and you have until Monday at 5pm to complete it. All levels of fitness, age, and gender can join in on the fun.

What is Friday Night Lights?

Friday Night Lights is a great way for the entire gym to gather together to test skills and progress, and more importantly, it’s an opportunity to support, encourage, inspire, and celebrate each other as we overcome challenges and blow past our perceived limitations. The energy of at this event is unreal and the memories will last a lifetime! Friday Night Lights will take place each Friday beginning at 5:00pm and will last for 3 weeks.

Who Can Participate?

ANYONE and EVERYONE! The next time you’re in class ask your coach to sign you up! 

How Does the In-House Competition Work?

The gym will be split into 2 teams. Sign ups have already started and will end on Friday, February 25th. Participation is not mandatory, but is highly encouraged as it is an opportunity to step out of your comfort zone, let your hair down, and have some fun! Teams will earn points by dressing up (different themes each week), completing workouts, and showing up for the festivities.

What if I Can’t Do the Workout?

You can!!  Each of the workouts will have scaling options, so everyone can do it!
